Description of solvent-free sanitary epoxy primer

Its properties include:
  1. Very good corrosion resistance
  2. High chemical resistance
  3. High abrasion resistance and hardness
  4. Excellent water and moisture resistance
  5. Good adhesion to steel surfaces
  6. Applicable with thicknesses over 200 microns
  7. Surface impermeability
  8. Designed for health systems
  9. Shine and excellent appearance

Uses

This coating is used alone as the final layer of sanitary epoxy systems and drinking water to protect the surfaces against corrosion and microbes. Due to the high solid percentage of paint with a spraying step, thicknesses up to 500 microns can be achieved. Its uses include:
  • Drinking water tanks
  • Water transfer pipes
  • Sanitary equipment
  • Industrial Drug Making Machines
  • Food Equipment
  • Food storage cells
  • Sanitary ware containers
  • Clean hall and operating room flooring

Surface preparation

Painted surfaces – These surfaces must be completely clean and free of any grease and other contaminants. Before painting, the surface should be completely dry and if a long time has passed since the application of the undercoat, a suitable roughness should be created by soft sanding on the surface. Steel surfaces – Wash the steel surface with a suitable solvent to remove grease, salt and any other contaminants. De-rust and create profiles on surfaces by various methods such as sand blasting up to 2.5 degrees Swedish or by mechanical tools up to ISO-ST3 degree. In metal structures and welded points and corners should be smooth and polished and free of any appendages and sharpness. After de-rusting and creating a profile, remove the particles from the preparation and other contaminants from the surface with a pressure of air free of moisture and grease and with the method of vacuum and thoroughly clean. Note that the application of the first layer (primer) should be done no later than two hours after preparation. Concrete surfaces – If the concrete is fresh, it must be 28 days after the concrete has been applied (the concrete surface is completely dry). If the concrete is old, the surface must be washed with fresh water to remove contaminants such as salts, grease, dust and Dust, loose and unstable particles, etc. from its surface

Description of polyamine epoxy surface paint

Its properties include: High flexibility
  1. Shine and excellent appearance
  2. Ability to apply up to zero degrees
  3. Resistance to temperatures below 35 degrees below zero
  4. Good adhesion to metal surfaces (aluminum – steel – galvanized – stainless steel and other metals)
  5. Excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation
  6. Resistance to oils, chemicals and petroleum products
  7. Good adhesion on polymer and plastic surfaces

Uses

This coating is used alone or as a surface paint for epoxy or polyurethane systems in industrial, chemical and marine environments. This coating is applied on exterior surfaces and on epoxies and compensates for their weakness against light. Its uses include:
  • Industrial devices and equipment
  • Pipelines outside and exposed to air
  • Coastal and offshore metal structures and installations
  • Refineries, power plants and chemical plants
